We stayed in Tahoe Donner for our annual family vacay. This area has many amenities (for a small daily fee) and it wasn’t crowded at all. We used the swimming pool, private beach for kayaking, we also went white water rafting at nearby truckee river and to local trivia night. The home was fresh and well appointed including cool art and A/C, corn hole, hot tub, games, ping pong, and everything a family could want. The property management company was easy to work with and very responsive. We would stay again.

We had a big family reunion of 7 adults (3 seniors) and 2 kids and the house was great. Plenty of room and very clean! Location was amazing - we came in January where there was a good amount of snow in the backyard and a great slope for sledding! There were a couple sleds there but if coming during snow I’d suggest bringing your own sturdier ones. Hot tub was great and easy to use. Cannot comment on fire pit as it wasn’t usable due to time of year. The only complaint I have is that no body wash/ shampoo/ conditioner was provided. I would have thought that should have been in each bathroom. So remember to bring your own. Overall great comfortable stay!

Some good things: This property is very new and modern. It looks as good in person as the pictures depict. The property management company was accessible by phone, email, and text. Some other things that weren't as good: The property wasn't ready for us at check-in time; the housecleaners were still working on the property for half an hour or so past check-in time. There was cat hair in some of the rooms, making life somewhat difficult for a few people in our group due to allergies. (I recommend that people allergic to animals either not stay at this property or come prepared with allergy medicine.) Even though the management company was accessible (as mentioned above) and happy to chat, I don't think they actually ever did anything helpful for us in response to our concerns. (They did supply to me a great example though of how property management companies don't care about a property the way the actual owner does.) Something that threatened to be devastating to our stay was that they supplied incorrect (and useless) WiFi network information; the network simply didn't exist, and the password of course wasn't correct. Fortunately, I have IT networking skills and was able to reconfigure the router and mesh network so as to make them usable and useful for our stay, but I shudder to think of how devastating this issue would be for a group that needs to stay online but doesn't have the necessary skills to reconfigure a WiFi network and such. Even by the end of our week there, the property management company was still sending me irrelevant network info. There were barely any toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap) supplied; make sure to bring plenty of your own. I know I mention a lot of not-so-great things above, but I would acknowledge that at least for us, each of the above was a small issue and together amount to only a mild-to-moderate annoyance. We overall enjoyed our stay at the property.

It was really wonderful to stay here again. The house is absolutely amazing and we wished it was a longer vacation. Our only suggestions would be to have toilet paper in all bathrooms. There wasn't even a roll in the master or hallway bath. We packed our own fortunately. There is no counter spray for the kitchen or sponge or scrub brush to clean dishes. The coffee maker could use an upgrade. It only makes 2 cups at a time and the master bath had a razor and shampoo and conditioner that looked like the owners. Also check out at 10am is really early. Thank you and we hope to rent this home again! Your staff and booking experience gets 10 stars!

Very nice newer home with high quality furnishing and finishes. The great room with a huge couch and lots of windows was a relaxing place to hang out with family. The house was clean and felt cozy and welcoming despite its more modern style. A couple of things in the kitchen we would have expected given the price of this home is a better coffee maker. The coffee maker only makes 4 cups for a house that has a dining room that seats 10 people. There were no measuring spoons for dry ingredients or mixing bowls. We were able to make these things work but for the price of the home I would expect these items to be available to guests. Overall, Harmony Ridge is a very nice home and I would stay there again.
