Cute cabin but not very clean

Cute little cabin but it was quite dirty. There was tons of dog hair everywhere.

Beautiful area

House & property were beautiful, but there were things that needed repair. Garbage disposal came off the housing as we were leaving that morning! Made a mess to clean up. Connection rusted out and fell off the drain! Curtain rod coming off the wall at the sliding glass door and microwave moves every time you push buttons. I reported all three things to property manager - hope they get fixed for the next guy!

Great Pet-Friendly Cabin

This is a clean, well-stocked cabin with lots of room to enjoy being indoors after a fun day of hiking. It had all the essentials there that we needed, and more. We stayed for 6 nights. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. We would definitely come back again to stay with our two dogs who also had a great time.

Great Cozy House Nice Area

The house was perfect for My Wife, My Old Dog and myself. It is in a great area where there is plenty to do, and has a very welcoming vibe. Unfortunately there was alot of smoke from distant wildfires so we didn't get to take full advantage of the many outdoor experiences the would normally be available in the Tahoe Donner area. However, we were well accomodated and cozy and even got to see some serious wildlife pass behind the property. If available, we'll certainly book this property again someday!

WONDERFUL GETAWAY

We enjoyed our stay at Rudi's Retreat!! Including Molly, our Granddog, playing with Rudi's blue ball. The location was perfect! We enjoyed dinner in downtown, Truckee. My son and his wife enjoyed Mt. Biking at North Star. We found a nice little hike ( Nature Loop) with our grandson, 16months and Molly. Also, our little Grandson also enjoyed the little wheelbarrow at the cabin collecting pinecones and sticks. The kitchen was very well supplied with cookware and dishes. The cabin was very comfortable....Thank You!

Will Book Again!!

We really like the house, it was exactly as described and pictured, comfortable, well-stocked. We appreciated having the box fans available, the folding clothes rack for athletic clothes, and all the lightbulbs work! We love the location, and we plan to book this house again. Thank you for allowing our K9 family members as well!

Cozy and Pet Friendly

Great property for our family of 5+ dog. Nice quiet street and conveniently located. Lots of sleeping options and spaces for 2 kids to hang out. Would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here. Erik was a breeze to communicate with and we all had a great time. Love that they’re dog friendly! It was an ideal spot, location t everything was awesome and we will go back to this place for sure.

Well-appointed cabin

We've stayed in over a dozen properties in Tahoe Donner over the years and really liked this place! Although small and somewhat older, it was very well-appointed and made great use of the space. Comfortable layout, had more than everything we needed, and great price. Quick internet, home stayed cool on very hot week, everything we needed in kitchen. When we had a problem with the dishwasher, the property manager responded right away. Even stopped by to bring additional supplies! Owner may want to update the pillows though, or bring your own if you are picky like me :)

You can find something better!

House was okay although it was dirty needs to be cleaned better and plastic shower curtains need to be changed ASAP! So disgusting they have mold on them terrible!! I have photos to prove. Also found alot of balloons around the house guessing it was from previous bookers. Rooms were not cleaned properly they’re were slippers and a water bottle under one of the beds. Dishes are wayyyyy too old seems like renter gave in his old dishes. Also, only ONE toilet paper in each bathroom, not accurate for a party of 10 in a 4 day stay a few light bulbs burned out, no trash bags, on the bathrooms had no hand soap. Bottomline This needs some work asap!! Stop being greedy and put money in your business.

Great place for a family.

This was a great place for our family over the Christmas holiday. It is close to several ski areas and was well equipped with lots of dishes and games for all ages. It is homey and we enjoyed our stay.

I'm disappointed

My complaint is because when we entered the cabin there was a strange smell and the carpets are very dirty the couches are also very dirty, there are no utensils to clean the cabin while we are there, the vacuum does not serve the iron either, there are even cobwebs in the windowsin the description there is a hot tub and neither is,and I am not really satisfied!

Rustic Tahoe Donner

Big cozy house in a great location in Tahoe Donner. Comfortable living room with a nice fireplace to keep us warm in the winter. Nice backyard for my dogs to play in . The entire house is clean and functional although it could use a little maintenance and updating in the kitchen. The location is excellent, and the amenities provide in Tahoe Donner are fabulous! And, it’s super to have access to a washer and dryer! Overall, we had a wonderful stay for an excellent value! Thank you for hosting us!
