"Nice end hotel, very few minuses, size of the single bed very narrow for. 5 star, sonic isolation very poor, heard the people talking next room. For my preference, to large , to impersonal, but this is me. Breakfast large selection but low on western cuisine. Excellent location, in middle of everything. Everything else just perfect."

"We recently stayed in this hotel and had a very pleasant experience overall, the staff were friendly, they were always helpful and quick to assist with any requests. The hotel location was also a major plus which close to the harbour. It was convenient to the restaurants and public transportation, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for comfort, convenient and good service."

"The condition of the property was poor - not just dated but also not well maintained. Room amenities are basic, carpets ware stained/worn and the toilet did not flush well (toilet paper would go down). Wasn’t expecting that condition for the hotel rating or for the price paid. I moved out the same night I checked in. On checking out, staff at front desk noticed that we had just checked in but did not bother to enquire the reason for leaving the same night. This is a different experience from other reviews that mention staff were extremely helpful. Staff are not rude - just indifferent. Earlier engagement with reservation staff was extremely poor - making enquiries to confirm I would have a twin room (for non-couple, adult guests, needing separate beds) was consistently met with unhelpful blunt responses that it would not be confirmed until check in - from the start I didn’t feel welcome. This room was booked around Nov 25 for a stay in May ‘26. No other hotel I’ve booked has ever responded in that manner. Travelling with an elderly parent and family, this hotel was not the last experience I wished for them remember, and hence had to move hotels. The location is very good; popular with tour groups, and could suit anyone seeking a 3-star hotel. Other rooms may have been better than the ones I booked. The photos on Expedia seem older and not reflective of the current condition for the rooms I selected."

"The BP international is not a 4 star hotel. It did the job for the stay and length of time that we were there, but the room was incredibly basic to the extent there was only one singular bedside table. The hotel does not offer complimentary water in the rooms which is fine, if they want to be sustainable but they need to offer an alternative like oither 4 star establishments. Water machines in the hall etc. The decor is insanely outdated. It is in need of a serious makeover. Even checking in you can see that this is an old hotel as everything is manual with the check in staff filing paperwork in a filing cabinet and no chance of a seamless and easy check in. The shower was tiny and the entire room was smaller than expected. It had minimal mirrors and overall I would have rated this as a 3 star hotel and not a 4."

"As someone who also works in the hospitality industry, I truly appreciate great service when I experience it. I would like to thank the entire team for making my mother’s recent stay so enjoyable. My mom couldn’t stop talking about how much she loved her trip, and a big part of that was because of how wonderful the hotel was. The property was beautiful, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the service provided by the staff made her feel welcomed throughout her stay. Thank you for creating such a positive experience for her. It means a lot to know that she was well taken care of. We will definitely recommend your hotel to family and friends and look forward to staying with you again in the future. 😊"
