"What a great find. Right next to Taipei Main Station (exit M3) and perfect if you’re coming to or from the airport. Really welcoming and a great room with excellent amenities including air con, a dehumidifier and fridge. I had a huge jacuzzi bath and Japanese style toilet seat ;-) The breakfast buffet is superb with a huge choice of western and local foods. If I hadn’t already booked another non-refundable hotel for when I head back to Taipei, I’d stay here again. Thank you!"

"Value for money. Walking from blue mrt and in heart of town area. Breakfast was very nice. Level 2 lounge is complimentary for the hotel guests- light snacks and tea/coffee after breakfast hours are over. Room is very comfortable and nice.helping and cordial staff. Overall great stay. "

"I stayed here for 8 days and it was such a pleasant experience. Meander 1948 was kind enough to offer a free guided tour with one of their amazing employees PJ (keep in mind to pay for your own transportation fares and meals expenses which is roughly under $500 TWD equivalent to just about $16 USD) along with the hotel company treating to a delicious fun dessert snack at the end of the tour. It all depends how much you want to drop as well, this is just a guesstimate combining expenditures for the day. The 8 bed dorm room was super comfortable. The lounging area is very peaceful and tranquil. You meet such cool amazing people in there that are traveling or studying abroad. It’s central to lots of fun and local spots. One of the night markets (Ningxia) is about a 10 min walk. The MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) is only a block or two away from the hostel. It’s just such a great location and super affordable. Highly recommended as a solo traveler. The Meander staff is super helpful and will provide any information to help in any way possible. Thanks Meander 1948. "Beautiful hotel and staff. Top notch. Only one slight hiccup as I paid 1/2 a night rate to checkout at 3p but nonetheless they came banging on my door and calling with DND signs and instructions left to not disturb. Was trying to sleep in prep for redeye and resetting time zones. They did immediately refund my charge. Will come here next time for sure. "

"The room was clean and nice, it had everything I needed. I was able to check in early when I came at 2pm Even though their check in time is 5pm. The staffs were really friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient for us to get everywhere we wanted to go, close to the Taipei Main Station which really great. "
