Great property, amazing location, self serve mini bar in the foyer is amazing. Located on level 2 of the building. Level 3 rooms (second floor for the hotel) are private. Top location, walkable to MRT and the typical Ximending district.

Absolutely love this place!

Amazing hotel in the center of Xi Men, and most importantly, a free snack bar with all types of drinks, ramen, water, and chips! Service was exceptional as well, wanted to take some time to thank Ted for introducing us to all the hotel amenities and arranging the airport taxi for us. Love that they put together some thoughts into the room card package- with 2 post cards, an old city map, and a puzzle piece for you to design and decorate the hotel wall. Will definitely come back if I travel to Taipei again.

Conveniently located within walking distance to lots of local food options and foot massage places. Best part of hotel was the counter in reception that offered free amenities like drinks, snacks and cup noodles. Late at night they sometimes have small sandwiches in the fridge all individually wrapped. Room was adequate but had a weird bathroom with full floor to ceiling glass walls. You had a big step up every time you entered the bathroom which was a little unsafe especially in the middle of the night. Shower was in a bathtub, also really hard to get in and out of due to height of the bathtub. No hot water in the shower unless you let it run for several minutes! By that time you are at least halfway through a tepid shower or wasted so much water just waiting for it to get remotely warm. Since it was 30+ degrees outside during our visit we didn’t mind a cooler shower. Staff were quite good with some help in English just in case you don’t speak Mandarin.

I really get a lot surprise from this property. Location is not far from the metro, less than 10 minute walk from XiMenDing Station. I stay during my birthday and they notice and give some special gift to me, 1 surprise. And the drink and light meal are free, include some sandwich, cup noodle and snack. The staff are friendly and respond immediately when I have issues. The room are clean and cozy, I book the room with bath tub, and they provide a free bath tub soap, that ie really nice!

So much going on outside! Street food, shopping, people watching. Inside, free nonalcoholic drinks, noodles, salty snacks, yum. Comfortable bed with two pillows each, shower mostly separated from toilet area. Enough space in room for two bikes and panniers. Considering the area, fairly quiet. Piano if you happen to play. We were lucky a talented pianist was playing while we were there. Although it is a bit difficult to find (go across the street from Cho Hotel, Cho 3 is on 2nd floor), thoroughly enjoyed the area and hotel.

Excellent location and snack bar

Excellent location, as located in the heart of Ximending, 5-7 mins walk to Ximen metro station, and many good restaurants right across the street from the hotel and nearby proximity. Love the snack bar in common area with unlimited bottle water, drinks, snacks, cup noodles, etc. and sometimes sandwiches too! Room with window, decent size and feel cozy. Quite clean, just sometimes see the bathroom table top not wiped clean when back to room later in the day, but rest are clean and good. Eco-friendly because bathroom amenities are offered in common area, so guests can pick and grab those that are needed, thus less wastage. Will rebook this hotel next time I visit Taipei.
