"Nice room, just and fyi expect to have geckos in the room with you (some aren’t small) I personally enjoyed it but it may not be for all
Very hard sport to get to and from without your own vehicle. Google maps is not accurate in the town for walking routes (unless you like walking through creeks and rice fields) and the bus routes and schedules are also not accurate. Hotel was nice though "

"Friendly staff. It is a nice, clean place to stay. Only thing is to be aware that there is no lift so luggage will have to be carried upstairs if the room is upstairs."

"Extremely clean. Very much like living in someone's home. Shoes are not allowed inside the building. Great if you are a large group. We took four rooms and had the entire place to ourselves. Nice kitchen for our use.
Major downside is that there's nothing nearby. "

"Wonderful hotel, staff and room. Breakfast is excellent.
One of the staff spoke good English and was very helpful and kind. 3-4 minutes from bus station. Would stay again"
"Kindness is an apt word, but also generous! My jaw dropped in amazement when the clerk at check-in handed me a paper that listed all the free amenities. Staff are extremely accommodating (helped me navigate a phone call, helped me park in lot, checked daily to see if we wanted housekeeping, helped with a laundry issue, and someone is constantly cleaning, in other words housekeeping is perfect! There is a second comforter in cabinet if needed. Abundant breakfast buffet which introduced me to some special items new to me (wood ear,, an apple-like melon, braised greens-possibly sweet potatoe greens?—cooked radish, taro, braised pigs feet with beans which was actually delicious, eggs different ways including scrambled with special pieces of this/that with different flavors, chicken stewed with chestnuts etc..). But snacks!! Taiwanese chips and crackers, coffee, teas,?ICE CREAM x 6 FLAVORS (grape, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, milk caramel and Valentine fruit). Fabulous, comfortable place that has spoiled other hotels for us now!! Forgot the mention: late night snack available —looked like a buffet—but we were full from dinner so we did not partake (so nice and generous that would make us feel guilty). Very grateful for 3 nights of Kindness’

"The best hotel we've stayed at on our journey so far! Beautiful and peaceful! should be a 5 star. They had 3 karaoke rooms, bar and rooftop dining. The nicest staff also, thank you!"
"Very clean room and elegant space design. It gives people a very relaxed and comfortable feeling. The staff was friendly and helpful. Especially when we took a taxi to check-in , there was an incident happened that my daughter’s wallet was dropped in the car. The staff quickly assisted in bringing up the security video tape to check the car number and assisting in finding the phone number of the driver at the taxi station. Fully showed the enthusiastic and hospitable nature of Taitung people. Thanks for the unforgettable kindness!"
"I can't say enough nice things for this hotel. Kids-friendly. Tons of things to do for kids. Clean. Well-kept. Well-staffed. Breakfast is superb. I just hope it stays this nice for many years to come. "
"Room is clean. There is no shower curtain in the bathroom. The whole washroom is all wet and slippery after shower and very dangerous for the seniors !"
"Nice property, nice people. Right near train station which is good AND bad. You can literally walk there, but the area is in an undeveloped area with nothing but a 7-11 and Family Mart. You'll need some way to get to town center. I'm a biker so I just rode bicycle everywhere. Breakfast is bland as toufu. Same thing every day."
"The hotel is great and relatively clean.
But the hotel has shown its age after more than 25 years in operations.
Breakfast is really good! There are more variety of foods than I can consume.
The service is excellent!"
