Property was great for what we needed. We stayed here again as on a previous stay we couldn't fault the accommodation. However this time it was still good but the shower pressure was low, the kettle/jug leaked and reception was closed on the couple of occasions I went to request another jug and more milk. I did not actively follow this up as there was an option to phone the owners so I can't really complain. Overall very nice stay.

Great stay, property was clean, and plenty of space for the 3 of us. Had a kitchenette with everything we needed to cook dinner and breakfast. Close to a lot of nice hikes and only about 20-25 min from Golden Bay. Property manager was very friendly and helpful, we did use the community laundry facilities which were nice to have and they had laundry baskets, detergent and drying racks, so that was really helpful. Parking is right next to your unit and easy to get in and out of. Would definitely stay here again, thanks for a great stay!!

Loved staying at Mohua Motels. The staff are all friendly and super attentive at making sure the rooms are presented well, kept up to standard, and ready for guests. The rooms were spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary toilettries are of high quality, and there are large bottles of shampoo/shower gel in the shower. The room I booked had a small kitchenette with a 2 ring hob and a microwave - perfect if you fancy a simple night in on the balcony. There is easy parking outside the rooms. Location is good, and being on the edge of town means it's convenient to walk for evening dining. I also noticed there was a guest laundry but I didn't need to use it. Overall a great place to stay and wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Room had all the basics you’ll need - comfortable beds, lamp on each bedside (this is plus!), sufficient lighting, equipped kitchenette (highlight in the good cutting knives ), roomy bathroom with high pressure and very warm water. The hose outside is a big help when you want to rinse your muddy shoes! We did orienteering for 3 days and this definitely was great to have! Location is perfect! Right across the supermarket and a few minutes stroll to the intimate town area. One possible improvement is the tap on the bathroom. It’s just too close to the sink. Water also does not drain fast. Something to look at. Over all, we are absolutely happy with our stay!
