“Our safari at Lorian was absolutely outstanding and epic! It was small and very personal, with amazing service and food. We were blown away having gourmet dinners and meals cooked personally for us while in the "back country", overlooking a river with hippos, and right in the safari country. Betty was our game driver and was amazing. She was constantly on the phone with other drivers tracking what animals were where. We saw a leopard with a kill up in a tree, a lioness take down a wildebeest,……

“This is a camp so amenities are pretty basic. That is very understandable. If you’re a light sleeper, you might not find the area conducive for you as hippos could get loud at night. My biggest issue with this camp is that by default they would clean the tent and rearrange your stuff. I get that cleaning is essential but as someone who functions in a very specific manner, I’d hate to find out that my things have been rearranged. I talked to the camp manager about this and he wasn’t apologetic at……

“Mara Hilltop was the highlight of our trip! Amazing location and the Luxury rooms are incredible. Very attentive staff as well - shout out to Steve and Lucy! What surprised me is, even though you're outside the park - it's pretty much the same as being inside the park. The animals are all around, and you get the benefit of walking in the nature with the Maasai guides, etc Highly recommend it!”
