This was a unique place to stay. Definitely historic and convenient. The room was nice. It is above a bar that has live music, so you just have to be down with that.

This century-old inn is located in the heart of town, making you feel like you've stepped back into the early 20th century. All guests share toilets and showers. The rooms are small, containing only a chair, a queen size bed and two tiny nightstands.

Such a cool spot. Bar and fun downstairs. A few rooms upstairs. A group of guys were jammin out when we got there - bluegrass band. Bartender checked us in and she was awesome and super helpful. Room and bathroom were very clean. Beds were super comfortable.

Absolut authentische Unterkunft. Mann schläft direkt über der Bar, wo es auch manchmal noch mit Live Musik hoch hergeht. Zwei Gemeinschaftsbäder mit jeweils einer Dusche für ca. 5 Zimmer. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, obwohl es laut war.

The Fairview Inn is conveniently located in town. It is not a place to expect to get a good nights sleep due to the bar below. I knew it was above a bar, however I did not expect a band playing so loud that the room was vibrating. The other issue is that there is no door at the bottom of the steps or at the top which did not seem very secure with access to the bar right there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. If you don't mind sharing a bathroom with other guests and not sleeping than this is the place for you.

Bearing in mind that we stayed here 40 yrs. ago, it was lovely to return and celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel has weathered better than we have! And who wouldn't enjoy karaoke night with the locals? Excellent food; staff couldn't have been more gracious. Don't go looking for luxury. Go to build memories.

The bar on the first floor didn’t stop playing loud music until 2am while I was told it should be closed at 10pm (and for this reason I have to use the side door to get access to the room upstairs if come back later than 10pm). I barely got any sleep during the stay

Not a good idea to stay here on a Friday night. They had multiple live rock bands that played from 9pm until 2am directly down the stairs from our room….extremely loud and a moronic choice to sell rooms on the same nights they are having live music. Don’t recall any sort of warning when booking.

Note, best if just adults. Didn't realize the rooms were above a bar. Noisy one night, & quiet the next. Room was clean as we're the bathrooms. Friendly staff, Great location in the center of it all. I'd recommend the owner install a door at the bottom or top of the stairs though.

It was really cool staying in such a historic place. The only downside to my stay was a rather loud birthday party downstairs in the tavern but the staff provided ear plugs which I really appreciated. The staff could not have been more helpful- special shout out to the cleaning staff.

It was a great stay at the Fairview Inn from start to finish. It was an eclectic stay at the property - the history, the mythical link to the television series Northern Exposure, and the locals who manage the bar, lodging, and beer garden. All were friendly, fun, and interesting. We stayed two nights at the Fairview Inn. It was all we hoped for and more. Thanks, Fairview Inn, staff for a great couple of days and nights!

What a fun place to stay in a Pioneer Town! I’m not sure if I missed it, but heads up that a live band typically plays at night. So if you need something more quiet that may not work for you. However we had a blast with some surprise 90s live music!

All was good. Fun place with the bar down stairs. Just have to be good with sharing one of the 2 bathrooms with the other 8 or so rooms. We were able to get into the one with the standing shower without issue.

Actually loved the stay, but there are things to consider: sharing a bathroom and showers with multiple guests, karaoke/bar/music until 1-130, then the sounds of the bar closing up downstairs. The building is nice and warm, but not for everyone. We had lock issues due to a recent change. The rooms are upstairs, up a narrow stairway, so be advised. I’d have to think hard before I stay again (not in a great spot for food or activities, in my opinion), kind of far off the path.
