Great getaway!

This home is lovely! It has plenty of room for family with a large kitchen table so everyone can enjoy a meal together. The sauna in the master bedroom is wonderful. We enjoyed the privacy of the location as well as the peaceful vibe of the home.

Great Property

We absolutely loved our stay. There was plenty of room for all to enjoy playing games as well as sitting on the front porch. Overall a really nice property. We plan to book during the same time next year.

Our stay in Talkeetna was perfect. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. The house is beautiful, well stocked with lots of bedding, towels, and kitchen items, and is located in a very quiet neighborhood.

We really enjoyed the location and style of this home. The property managers were kind and quick to help with any questions we had. Well stocked kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms. A must stay!

Family adventure

House was nice and cozy. Clean and well stocked. I appreciated the shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, few condiments left in the frig and even a mini box of wine! The kids loved the games and playing in the big yard. Would recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our time in the house and wish we could have stayed longer! Talkeetna is adorable and is a very quick drive to restaurants and activities. The home was clean and beds were comfortable - more space than we needed for our family of 5. We would recommend staying here if traveling through Talkeetna.

Another stop on the edge of paved roads

We love this quaint little house outside of Talkeetna and visit annually to fish and explore the area. Owners are super helpful and easy to work with. Always our favorite annual family vacation destination!

Beautiful property in a convenient location right off the Spur and close enough for a scenic 3 mile walk into the quaint town of Talkeetna. Spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Highly recommend!

Alaska Getaway

Our group of 6 spent 2 nights here on our 7 day getaway! House was wonderful and the best built of the 4 VRBOs we experienced! Everything you need was there! Took a flight through the glaciers and drove up to Denali. Only downside was that “state birds” were thick so we didn’t get to enjoy the yard as much as we would have liked!

Beautiful house close to Talkeetna

My family of 5 with kids ages 10, 11, and 12 along with my 70 year old inlaws enjoyed this house very much. Plenty of room, nice kitchen. Talkeetna is a cool interesting little town, we did the jetboat to devils canyon, took a plane to a glacier landing. Ate dinner at mile high pizza pie and Denali brewing company. Great times!!

Family Stay-cay in Talkeetna

For a weekend getaway with family that is scattered all over the state of Alaska, this was a great location in an adorable town. We had a great time. We had a party of 9 show up and two that couldn’t make it. It was a bit of a tight squeeze in terms of seating for this large group. This house would probably be more comfortable for a group of 8 or less people. Overall, it was great!

Great fit for us

The home worked very well for our family group of five 70+ year olds. We were very comfortable. The location was very convenient to the center of Talkeetna. There was a slight issue with keypad access, but Kelly was able to give us instructions for a work around. If we were to be in the area again, we would certainly consider staying here again.

Cute house nestled in the woods, close to Talkeetna

My brothers and I with our dad planned on an Alaskan site seeing and fishing trip and this VRBO was perfect for the first half of our vacation until we made our way to Homer. The overall process and getting into the house was seamless. Clean and well kept. Would recommend this VRBO to anyone. Thank you!

Excellent stay

I am a major review reader before making decision so I hope this helps others. This place was amazing! Very comfortable and felt like home. It felt private in the woods even though you had neighbors. It was a convenient location. We really fell in love with this town. We stayed at several places in our visit to Alaska but this is one we said we would return to. Not only the town but this house. I highly recommend!!

Time in Talkeetna

We stayed for 2 nights and our time here was wonderful. The communication with Rob and Kelly was terrific. They checked with us via text to see if we needed anything and they responded to our requests immediately. The property was immaculate and extremely comfortable. If we were to come back here again we would definitely want to stay here. Five star plus!
