"Don't be fooled by the entrance from the highway to the cabin. This is a diamond in the rough. I was highly surprised and truly enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable, and the breakfasts are the best, I haven't had this good of food at any restaurant. Very peaceful and a great place to relax. "

"I booked this hoochee haus for a nice quiet getaway and to celebrate my birthday. It did not disappoint. The place ws so clean. It had all the things i needed. And the view on the river was so beautiful i could not have had a better place. It was close enough to walk to the little town. Or park in town and wander around all day and then drive back. The weather was great. The people were friendly. I met a new friend on my last day there. I will return to this hoochee haus."

"We have stayed in several cabins over the years and this cabin is in the best setting by far. The view from the rear deck is absolutely beautiful. The stairway down to the creek is very manageable even for us old folks. The cabin is very secluded and cannot be seen from the road. I couldn't give it 5 stars, however, because the gas grill is worn out and will not heat sufficiently to cook food, and the bed in the master bedroom is uncomfrotable and needs replacement. "I liked that everyone was friendly and professional. I did not like that we had some flies and gnats in the room. Since we were on the first floor the people were smoking outside our doorway which is inconvenient as I am used to nonsmoking areas. But the owner was so nice and accomodating that the negatives were not a big issue. We enjoyed our stay."
