「I stayed one night. It was ok. Room was relatively clean. Could use a good deep cleaning. Corners of room was not that clean. The shower head was crusted over with calcium or something crunggy looking. No breakfast. Didn’t use ac. The temp in room was fine. The computer system was down so I had to wait close to an hour to get checked in. The price was way too high for what you get. I don’t believe I would stay again. 」

「I enjoyed my stay very much. The people who work there are so nice, the room was newly renovated and lovely, and the Mexican restaurant that is on site was fantastic.」

「Nice old place in decent shape. The breakfasts were wonderful. Not having someone there, other than the lady who came in to cook and serve breakfast, was somewhat of a negative, as we would have liked to ask questions, especially in the evenings, about places to eat and things to do. Also, a bathtub/shower, with no really hard-mounted grab bars, is not really good for seniors」

「This IS NOT a family friendly property. The casino was not inviting. No pool, rooms (we had 2) were very small. Beds were standard size not queen or king size making it uncomfortable for 2 people to sleep in one bed. The bathroom was very small only a tub/shower and a toilet. Hard to turn around in. Beds were comfortable but we would not stay again.」

「Run down property. Cleaning and upkeep does not appear to be a priority- also was not clear that the casino is not on property- a shuttle or few min drive. My non smoking room smelled like an ashtray- local staff did move me to a room that was better」

「I had such a wonderful time at the Baer House! LaTonya, the house manager, treated me like royalty--and a good friend. The home is magnificent and not just cared for but loved. I would highly recommend staying here. It surpassed my expectations! Thank you, everyone, for making me feel at home.」

「Our room was so dirty. Baseboards were gross. Black mold in the bathroom. Floor turned out feet black. Couch had rips in the fabric. Cowling was crumbling around air vents. Super close to a busy road. Had to climb 3 flights of steep stairs to get to our room. The whole place is a safety violation. And so dirty!!! We were catfished for sure. Also, in a shady part of town. This place has fencing but not a locked gate system.」

「I mean, for 75 dollars a night, it’s absolutely terrible. Compared to a $50 a night room, it’s not that bad. No roaches or anything like that. But very run down. AC leaking and had to be on 61 or wouldn’t run. Broken showerhead, fire alarm was gone, only wires sticking out of the wall, no one makes bed, takes trash, or brings towels. It’s a $50 a night motel charging 75. Staff was nice.」

「From the coutside and getting to the location, we were a little worried but room was clean and inviting. Not a 5 star iobviously, but after we did a little search, we found a great little rooftop restaurant right around the corner.」
