“Excellent Stay at the ROOST. Very classy and home away from home. Very convenient to the grocery store (Publics) and other shops. Also was able to get on the rail from the Publics to view other parts of Tampa such as YBor City. Awesome visit and love the city vibe.”

“The most coziest property. I was there with some girlfriends for the BTS Arirang concert. We felt safe and the best part was the Pete’s Bagel downstairs! The host was very responsive to messages and the whole process of check in was smooth. Everything was clean and the property was wonderfully decorated. Also, loved the free roaming chickens and roosters in the area. 10/10, no notes. ”

“For the price point and name, this property is severely lacking. After booking, we received a notice that the pool is under renovation which was a reason for booking. The options were to use pools at 2 other properties near by which were both at capacity. The room smelled like an old rag when we arrived. Brought cleaning staff again who just wiped down the closet and bathroom. We had to spray our own perfume to make the smell go. We lost our room key and needed to get into our room, front desk……

“I did not think Staff was up to standard when i tried to check out. could not get Valet for car. could not get front desk to answer my calls for 15 minutes. Valet left car in front but no one around. had to go to valet office to find my car fob.”

“If you’re looking for a room to sleep in. It’s a nice room. That’s all I can say about the hotel. It lacks the most important thing I look for in an expensive hotel, an in room coffee bar or machine. Nothing. Having to get up, get dressed and go down to the restaurant bar for a cup of overpriced coffee doesn’t do it for me. At a minimum…have access to coffee in the lobby. I like to have coffee at the end of an evening out and nothing was available. Nice friendly staff. Nice restaurant. But in……

“The location is good, close to River Walk and restaurants etc. The room was not too big or too small and nice amenities. However, the coffee machine didn't work, no ice on our floor and no towels for the pool. Otherwise, very much enjoyed our stay and will likely return on our next trip to Tampa.”
