The Hotel Tartu is an afforable and excellent place to stay in Tartu (Estonia). The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The staff very courteous and helpful. The breakfasts are great. Highly recommended.

Hotel is very clean, modern and functional. Breakfast is full but not great quality (poor coffee beans in the coffee machines) Beautiful sauna/gym complex--there should be extra towels available for guests who use it.

I was there for a conference. The rooms and hotel itself were pretty basic and the area is a little strange. It has kind of eerie feel to it which I cannot put my figure on. I will say this I wish I discovered the Sauna on the first day it was great.

Basic but solid; be aware if you’d like to use the sauna facilities you need to take a towel and also have your own suitable footwear

Great hotel next to the bus station and the center of the city. Lots of shopping opportunities around as well as restaurants and bar. Very friendly staff. Corner rooms are the best, with lots of light getting into the room. Good price for a room rate. Very good choice to stay in Tartu

Overall good value for money. Good location, nice room, pretty ok breakfast and really nice surprise was morning SPA with 3 saunas overlooking Tartu.

Nice hotel, excellent staff, good location. Check-in was easy. The rooms were good, but they seemed a bit like a hostel, with three twin beds and a small bathroom. This isn't a complaint, mind you--the room was clean and comfortable--but just FYI. The room also did not have any sort of coffee service in the room, nor did it have any way to heat water. Again, just FYI.

In addition our hotel style is the 60s. We don't have coffee service in the room, but is possible to rent kettle from reception. Kettle rent is free of charge. Lovely, Central, suitable for disabled
Delightfully retro with competent multilingual staff. Across from the bus terminal and a short walk to the university and the river as well as the shopping district. Nice cafe for a nightcap with friends or colleagues in town. Floors appear to be divided into singles and doubles so if booking a single you should specify if you need a quiet room. Otherwise quite quiet except you might wind up next to a school group but the one I was next to did not cause any disruptions. I would recommend this hotel for disabled Travelers

Good place with s spa
There was nothing special in the hotel but the location was great. The weird thing was that there was an unisex changing room for the spa (and I didn't realize that early enough).

Delightful hotel, convenient location. Very Scandinavian style rooms with lots of light wood--very pleasant. Excellent breakfast buffet (but should have coffee cream and tomato juice). Staff kept supplies full until the closing time, so you get just as good a breakfast at closing! Sauna is very light because of a large window on one wall--delightful! There is a 6 euro per person fee for using the sauna in the evening--this should be included (it's included in the mornings).

I was looking for something reasonably priced, conveniently located so that I could have bus access to and from Tallinn airport and I found it Tartu Hotel. The staff was friendly and nice, my room clean, the free breakfast offered a very nice spread of hot foods, fruit, pastry and more! The hotel is within a 5-10 min walking distance from City Centre. And it’s a very nice walk along tree shaded streets and welcoming cafes. I would highly recommend Tartu Hotel to anyone.

Nice city break!
We had a great stay, perfectly located hotel in the center. Only a two night stay, but by renting excellent bikes from "www.gravelest.com", we saw a lot of a the beautiful city.

Great location. Just right next to the bus station (tartu bussijjamm). It’s walking distance to the town hall and all the attractions. The science centre (AHAA) is just behind the hotel. There is also a sauna facility in fr hotel. Morning sauna is free to use but evening sauna u have to pay around €6 for it. Room is spacious and clean. Basic amenities but sufficient for a comfy stay. Definitely a great choice if u r catching early bus.

My short stay in Tartu
The hotel was clean, comfortable and convieniently opposite the main coach station in the city. I had no major problems with my stay and the staff dealt swiftly with noisy occupants in an adjacent room when I complained. The breakfast was tasty and the city centre was well within walking distance of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to visit Tartu.

The best of the hotel is that its just in front of the coach station but you get in 8 mins to the town hall.. staff was nice. Decent clean, breakfast ok.

Hotel in good location (walk to shopping centers, just opposite the bus station), in good condition. Wifi functional. Good breakfast. The only drawback: the spa so prominently shown on hotel pictures is charged EXTRA (even the sauna), so this was a bit of a disappointment.

The hotel is in a good position for walking to the Old Town and other places of interest and has a nice river running through the town which is nice to walk along. The room was clean, comfortable but quite small but functional, no air conditioning so we had the window open. The lady on reception provided us with a kettle when we asked for one, breakfast was plentiful and a good veriety. There is plenty of free parking in the hotel car park. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only one bad thing was that the internet would not work properly in our room.
