“The Grove Turangi accommodation was lovely, easy to reach and very clean. There was parking right in front of the place. Check-in was super easy and straightforward with clear instructions. The hosts were very friendly. As an extra bonus, there was a sauna, which we really enjoyed. All in all, it was a very nice stay and we definitely recommend it! ”

“For 4 adults attending the Wairakei School of Golf this was a perfect place to stay. One couple and 2 singles each with our own bathroom was perfect. Plenty of space inside and although we didn't use outside it would have been a great space for pre dinner drinks and chat. Being close to town, bars and restaurants makes this place very appealing. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Taupo, close to the be able to relaxaction but far enough away to be away from the noise.……

“The place had broken dining chairs. There was stale hard coffee in the jar as well as old lollies stuck inside a jar. The host did not provide enough utensils for use. The pots and pans provided were really low quality. Everything stuck to it. Very hard to use and clean. Also there was 1 fry pan, which made it difficult to cook. There was not enough toilet paper and no dish cleaning sponge to wash dishes with. Only a brush which did not help clean the pans well. The worst part was the single……

“We were travelling to this apartment in Taupō for a 2 night stay. On the day of check-in we kept trying to get into contact with the host but no response at all! Also contacted bookabach and even when they contacted the host they couldn’t reach them. I’m sure there is a reasonable explanation considering all the positive comments about the apartment. However, it was quite a hassle that day and wasn’t sure what to do at that time. ”
