Very clean room, with lake view. Comfortable hearing the heavy rain during the night. Very cozy. The only complaint was the noisy neighbors who came in late and talked very loudly for a while, then were up very early talking close to our door. That was people related, not the lodgings fault.

It was one of the best stays in NZ we had. The owners are lovely, even gave us homemade cookies at check-in. The private hot tub/pool is just amazing after a day out in cold winter days. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, comfy beds with heating blankets, everything is spotless clean. Just across the street is Lake Taupo with a great jogging track into the town center.

Lovely and welcoming hosts. Room was very clean, warm and comfortable. A little worn down in a few areas but nothing that caused any issues. The layout worked great for our family of 5 with plenty of space and privacy for everyone. We would definitely stay again.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here for the last 4 nights. The owners are lovely and accomodating. Lots of privacy and the spa was enjoyable! The room was spotless on arrival and the cleaners were respectful when approaching our room for a service. Everything was super clean, the only thing we noticed was the spa area had a smell to it. Outside only Other than that, thank you for having us! We’ll definitely be back.
