AC was working but it was ineffective . Flat smelled of stale water all throughout. Tried to contact owner to check AC but they never answered back. Photos make the property look nicer, it's a bit dreary really. It was ok as we weren't in most of times but I would've stay tgere again. The grounds were beautiful and the location was excellent.

Dss Das Bernadas ist eigentlich sehr schön und hochwertig. Die Wohnung basismässig auch. Es gibt aber viele Beschädigungen in vielen Bereichen. Ganz unschön die teilweise schimmeligen Fugen in den Bädern. Auf dem Breitt neben dem Bett, das als Nachttisch dient, lag ein abgeschnittener Fingernagel. Das Fliegengitter vor dem Wohnzimmer ließ sich nicht arretieren, es ging immer wieder hoch. Schlechter Erhaltungs- und Pflegezustand. So schade um das schöne Appartement.

Where to start…

Worse pillows, mattress and towels I've ever experienced. Like literally old cubes of foam. Not very clean either but ill save you the hairy details. One of the beds was also missing the duvet cover (the duvet in question was actually made of plastic like a hospital and had hairs stuck to it) which is actually pretty unbelievable. Sofa’s, cushions and covers smelled extremely dusty.. like they never been washed. All windows were missing some their blinds except for the living room, which had a unraisable paper one.. Asked for an extra paid cleaning and was left the dirty dishes to wash on the basin and my leather bag was crushed from someone sitting on it. My mother called about the dishes and 4 (yes 4) ladies barged into the apartment talking loudly while finishing the job they left undone. I've been to convento das bernardas many times before and this particular apartment was the worse by far. It even smelled moldy (they don't clean anything properly, can't imagine they clean the air con filter). I would never recommend it or come back again.

Beautiful building in Tavira

Booked this apt for my stay in Tavira because of the architecture of the building and was not disappointed, it is beautiful… and very well located. Checkin was not clear, I did not know what to expect. Sent a message an hour before arrival as requested but did not get an answer. When we got there, the home away representative was waiting for us which was great. Apartment is like the pictures except that it requires a little maintenance (small things that would make a difference) and the patio furniture is falling apart… should be updated.

Modrige Wohnung

Die Wohnung hat ihre besten Tage gesehen. Der Komplex und die Lage sind toll. Die Wohnung stank nach Chlor, da soe wohl damit geputzt worden ist. Danach kam der modrige Geruch. Die Fenster kaum öffnen. Der Geruch ist einfach sehr unschön…. Hier müsste viel gemacht werden. Checkin ging gut, ausser dass wir 2 Tage keine Kaffeemaschine hatten. Checkout ist schwierig, da man nur mit Schlüssel den Komplex verlassen kann. Auf meine Frage gab es keine Antwort. Am Ende bin ich über den Zaun geklettert.
