The hotel was amazing value for money. The hotel was very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice and we had a great time at the pool area. Very relaxing and ideal for what we wanted

Place was kept tidy and had daily room service. Staff were friendly. Could’ve had more options at breakfast (ie. more cooked options and breakfast tea to offer) however the cakes were always varied and nice.

The staff really tried with a language barrier between us. The property was slightly nicer than the surrounding area. Breakfast was as expected from a European hotel. Overall a decent place to stay on our way through the area. Would stay again. Hotel restaurant closed on Mondays

We only stayed one night, The room was quiet despite being located so close to a main road. The room was comfortable, bed cozy, room had the dark black out and shower had good power. The breakfast was good, and parking easy. Town centre is very close but we were advised to drive rather than walk.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for eight days, it was excellent. Rooms are well furnished, modern and well maintained. The staff is exceptional! As a family owned hotel they really treat you like family! That is an extra benenfit here that is hard to come by in todays world of corporate chain hotels. Breakfast is very good, simple, but with enough variety to suit every taste. I highly recommended you stay here while in the Tavira area.

We had an excellent stay at hotel Don Rodrigues- staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to guide us toward the centre of Tavira which was a short 15 minute walk away. Crossing the busy main road was initally a bit daunting but was fine and worth Uzbek explore this beautiful town. The pool area was nice and the hotel is extremely clean. Breakfast was also delicious with a great selection. Would definitely return!

When searching it said it was walkable and it is not, nice restaurant next door, but didn’t like that you couldn’t walk to get dinner as restaurant was closed on Mondays and we had just driven for 6 hours. Also walls are thin, no soundproofing, could hear dogs barking at 5am, toilets flushing, a couple fighting two nights in a row, so it was a great location as it’s inexpensive but didn’t sleep well even though the beds are super comfortable.

Excellent Hotel For Owners with Pets

As a couple we stayed at this hotel on 1st May 2024. The reason we chose, was because it would accept pets, and we have 2 dogs. The hotel is happy to accept them, as long as they are well behaved. In addition you need to be aware that you are liable for any damage. This was not a problem for us as our dogs are well trained and responsive. I would imagine humans cause a lot more damage! We paid about €80 for our room, which was clean, tidy and spacious. There was a fridge, coffee machine, and good size private bathroom in our room. There is a good size swimming pool as well! We were also delighted that the price included breakfast, which was very good and covered everyone's needs (ie veggie, etc). Its about 2KM into town and there is a busy road outside with nor pavement. However, we ordered a pet friendly UBER taxi each way, which cost us €4 each time, and made life very easy. This hotel is well worth a try, especially if you wish to bring your dog/cat etc, and we will certainly use it again, when we next visit Tavira. Finally, we received great service from Raul, behind reception. He was kind, courteous and a credit to the hotel

It was unfortunate that there was road construction at the time of our stay 10 /13-10 / 20. However, with the windows closed and our air conditioner on we slept well. Staff friendly and helpful,( shout out to Mario ) Very reasonably priced

Lovely decor, boutique feel. Fantastic breakfast choice. Nothing was too much trouble for the young men who work here. The pool is a good size but it needs regular cleaning as does the sunbed area - not swept or cleaned for 3 days. We had a room at the back which was very noisy with visitors leaving the restaurant - chatting for hours.
