“Would highly recommend checking with the property agent that the booking is valid when you book. I booked this last minute. Arrived at the attached cafe ( which I’d highly recommend) a couple of hours before check-in only to be informed that the rooms had already all been booked. Was given no help whatsoever by the unprofessional property owner who I’m assuming brought her very young child to avoid any escalation and just told us to take our anger out on Expedia. “Alrighty, the place had charm. It’s a manor house that was built in the late 1800s. David, the owner, was an engaging and passionate host, but gave the impression that he couldn’t be bothered to go too much beyond the expected. The room was charming! However, it’s an old building and it lacked modern amenities and the room was in an isolated part of the building.
