  • This was taken at the Kea Point lookout at Mt Cook National Park. It was an easy trek and the view was phenomenal. We got there just as the sun was about to go behind the mountains so I was glad that I could capture what was left of the light on those snow-capped peaks. The giant mountain there is Mt Wakefield and just to the left of it is Mt Cook, nearly fully covered by those stubborn clouds. The Muller Glacier down the bottom definitely gave the image a good colour contrast as well.

  • If you can afford it, I recommend splurging on a helicopter flight or fixed wing plane ride to Milford from Queenstown or Wanaka. The views of Fiordland from above are unbeatable.

Cozy cottage! Easy walk to Te Anau downtown.

Great place! Loved our cozy cottage. Had everything we needed. It was very private, clean and bed was comfortable.

Das Personal war sehr sympathisch und hat zügig auf unsere Anfrage reagiert. Toll war, dass es eine Waschmaschine gab. Das Cottage an sich ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das hatte Charme. Wir haben die nahegelegenen Restaurants sehr geschätzt und auch die Lage zum Milfort Sound war top!

Super fijne cottage, vrijstaand, erg ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien, op loopafstand van het centrum en begin van wandelroutes gelegen. De service van de host was uitstekend. Hij regelde gelijk een Doubtfull Sound trip: super ervaring🙏👏
