"This is a unique little house where considerable thought has been put into every detail. The rooms are small but charming. Staying in Manapouri is a great way to avoid the tourist throng in Te Anau and it’s only a 15-minute drive away. Comfy beds, very quiet location. Our only problem was the lock box: two sources had different codes and we were trying what must be the old code; once we discovered the second code, all went swimmingly. Nice, too, to have 2 pm checkin and 11 am checkout. ...

The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms fully stocked and so clean. The neighborhood was absolutely lovely with a beautiful view of the mountains from the front windows and a walking track by the lake that was within easy walking distance.
