The staff was wonderful

Not only was the property convenient and clean, but the staff was exceptional and always there to offer help, give us a ride or just to ask how we were doing.

Fabulous location, property, and service

The condo is wonderful and the staff help with every little thing you may need. We needed a dog sitter and they called around found us one of the staff who was happy to help us. I can’t say enough things about how wonderful this place is and we will definitely be back!!

Impeccable service and location

Beautiful condo, unmatched service and a fantastic location. The only issue was the road work and the construction outside our bedroom window that started at 7am and 8am respectively. Unfortunately, I don't know that there is anywhere in town in Telluride not affected by construction noise. Would stay here again and hope for less construction in the area.

everything was GREAT until our flight canceled home and unit was empty for next 2 days...we asked to stay one more night and the Alpine rental guy quoted us and outrageous amount. when my husband mentioned that it would cost him no more in cleaning fees and otherwise sit empty ...gave a terrible response.

Great Location & Amenities (if available)

We were very excited to stay at the River Club, after researching many locations in the town of Telluride. Shuttles, Concierge, Bikes & Gondola access. Great deal for the price offered. With these amenities, we decided against a rental car and had arranged for a shuttle from Montrose into town. Exactly 30 days before our visit, we received an email from the property (not VRBO) announcing which amenities would not be available during the town's shoulder season. This was also timed so that any changes or cancellations would be more costly to our pockets. We are clearly aware of shoulder seasons as we have a 2nd home in Beaver Creek, yet the site never mentioned which features would not be available for those dates. The building's management (not VRBO) stepped in to make everything clear as to what was available to us, and what was not. So we ended up renting a car from aiport and driving ourselves in. Same price, for less amenities, mind you. River Club actually put us in and upgraded unit and provided a spreadsheet for all restaurants and their closing dates. Again, great place & location at River Club...the listing is not complete when these shoulder dates are involved. All unavailable amenities should either be removed or have a visible asterisk informing the renters of what will NOT be there; prices should be adjusted for the sames changes.
