Tempe Family Hotel

"This hotel was run down. The room reeked of cigarettes. Paint and wallpaper were peeling off the wall. The bed seemed 50 years old and the pillows were unusable. "

"The AC worked. Our room was sufficient for a good night's sleep and cleaning up in the morning. There was NO COFFEE maker. "

"Wow.. I don’t even know where to start. I knew I was staying at a motel 6 so I never had high expectations. But as soon as we walked in there was an extremely smell of cigarette that at this time my nose is still hurting from the strong smell. As if that was not bad enough both beds had huge cigarette burn holes on them and were very dirty. I was thankful I had a couple of covers in my car that we could use. Then we went to take a shower and there was dirt or sand of some kind in the tub. I understand that we didn’t pay much for one night but it’s no excuse for a room to look in that condition. I would never ever stay there. I will pay the extra hundred dollars for at least no cigarette smell and clean sheets. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone."

"Floors and walls have been updated in the last decade, but nothing else. The door lock didn't work. Bathroom sink wasn't in the bathroom. Mattress was uncomfortable. AC was loud. Room was clean."

"Room and property absolutely beautiful. Everyone was so friendly,we felt very comfortable. They served a complete breakfast, buffet style with anything you could want basically. The pool was spotless and inviting "

"Shea at the front desk was Very helpful. Would have appreciated a second coffee pod in the room (not just decaf)"

"Nice clean room, breakfast was typical for a continental, nice quiet area and very kind & helpful staff. The pool area was cute & clean. Housekeeping was in our room while we were gone which has never happened to me before therefore my husband threw out our alcoholic beverage for safety concerns."
