"The hiking trails were beautiful, it’s a little awkward because you feel like you’re walking on other people’s “property” but it’s a public trail. The view was gorgeous, even though we were further away from the water. And there’s plenty of bowls, silverware, etc. so no need to stress about that which was nice! And it was a pretty drive to Grand Marais around 25 min."

"Our stay was pleasant. There was a wedding inside Saturday that we would have liked to have known about ahead of time. Was very awkward trying to leave our room while the ceremony was starting. Beds were super comfy. Stayed here for 3 nights. We had dinner there which was just “ok”. No breakfast onsite, which we knew about ahead of time."

"We have been coming to Lutsen for 30 years and this was my wife’s favorite stay. Amenities such as an electric tea kettle and French press were the icing on the cake. The beds and linens were comfy and even things like toilet paper and paper towel were elevated from a typical rental. The view was beautiful and the location so very peaceful. Enjoyed both decks and fire pit immensely. Highly recommend!"

"This was the first time we stayed at this residence and it is a wonderful place. Inside and out, it was beautiful. Tucked in the woods close to Caribou lake allowed privacy, yet it was very close to the "big lake". The inside looked very new and was a perfect get-away home to kick back in; especially when the smoke did not allow us to be outside the first day we were there. The home slept 9 very comfortably with room to spare, with 3 large areas we could all gather in, including an outdoor porch, a separate deck for an outdoor barbeque, and a fire pit as well. A must stay for anyone who appreciates a beautiful and well taken care of vacation home."
