「My reservation was purportedly for the "Quaint, Lakeside Hotel". After spending 30 minutes covering the small city I came to the conclusion that NO SUCH place in Everglades City. The rooms were, in fact at the Captain's Table and check-in was at the Ivy House (their people were extremely helpful). The room as modest and the balcony a nice amenity, if only the outside light worked. It was OK for a one-night stay but I would not want to spend too many nights there. The price was high for the...
