"The rooms were a very nice size. We had two queen beds, and I must admit the beds were extremely comfortable. The bed covering was perfect. The sheets were clean, the comforter was plush and warm. If there was a downside, it was the TV, it was a small TV in such a large room. There was a table and chairs so you could sit and enjoy a meal without having to eat on the bed. The bathroom area was a nice size. There was a walk-in shower in our room. The sink was outside of the actual bathroom area, which was good because there was more than one person in the room.
Now the continental breakfast was everything. I was surprised to see that they had biscuits and gravy and a variety of drinks, yogurt, eggs, and more. That was the best breakfast I've seen in a long time and it was good."
"My kids and I had a fun weekend staycation here while we visited the Ocean Institute. We rode the metrolink to San Juan Capistrano and an OCTA bus dropped us off in front of the hotel.
This hotel is a short walk away from the restaurants and shops in the harbor. The Ocean Institute and a wave-less kid friendly beach is a just a short walk away.
My kids loved splashing around the pool during the day and soaking in the hot tub at night. The room was overall clean and all the amenities worked. Our bed was comfortable and we got a great night of sleep. The included breakfast was surprisingly good too.
The only thing this place needs is new carpet."

The staff was very friendly, and service at the bar was wonderful. The food was delicious, and so were the drinks. We walked across the street to the beach in the morning.
