「If you love a rustic, quiet setting by the lake and not be annoyed by the lack of 'newness' or up-to-date appliances and amenities then this is the place for you. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay but only because of the setting. From my understanding this lodge/resort was sold fairly recently and is in the process of being updated. The main lodge is very modern and up-to-date but prices were out of our range. We also have 2 small dogs and I don't believe you can have dogs in the main...

「The toilet ran all night and the hea/AC fan sounded like a freight train. Difficult to sleep with all that noise. There was no elevator do you had to haul your suitcases up the stairs.」

「We came in for a wedding and requested an early check in. We called one week before and the day before! Despite being packed with a softball tournament crowd, they fit us in, and gave us a beautiful, chic clean room. We loved the renovations and the fact that we had access to a pool, free coffee and more.」

「We loved our stay at Southshore! The hotel was very clean and the staff is top notch. We stayed in a 2 queen bed studio suite, which fit our family of 5 beautifully (with room to spare). The breakfast was amazing; so many choices! Would definitely recommend!」
