"I have to say Mission Peak Lodge takes the cake as the worst motel I've ever stayed. Before arriving, I called to ask about the deposit and Amy, hotel manager, told me it would be $0 as long as I didn't pay cash. I called later to tell them about my service animals and the deposit raised to $50, even though I reminded them service animals are medical equipment not pets. Once I got there Amy told me my deposit would be $300! I fought with their hotel management company and it was lowered to $100, which they still refuse to refund 2 days later. I booked the Superior room with a kitchen, hardwood floors, and double windows in the bedroom. I was given something cheaper with carpet and everything was smaller than pictured. The fridge handle was broken, the stove burners didn't work (they came and got 3 of the 4 to turn on and told me I only needed 3), the TV didn't work half of the time, there's signs everywhere saying no smoking but guys are smoking day and night everywhere. I had a theft take place in the laundry room and Amy and their hotel management refused to do anything to help. After reporting, the man involved in the theft stared into my hotel window from his balcony all night long. I was terrified but they refused to refund my night. I had to involve the authorities twice and was recommended to sleep with my door and window barricaded. The cops said the motel is full of unhoused, mentally unstable, and drug addict tenants. Do NOT stay here if you value your life!"

"I’m not sure why this place was rated so high. It was not maintained well and the room had a musty odor! It took an hour to get enough cooler and fresher air in! The bed was ok, but the sheets were not soft! The lighting was atrocious! I checked in late due to a work event, and the staff put me on the 3rd floor (no elevator)! The young person was speaking to me through a window with a microphone and her voice was so high pitched and she had a heavy accent so she was difficult to to understand!"

"I would like to first say that for the vast majority of times, I try not to rate too harshly because I know that the success of a business can be affected by what people read online. That being said, I hope this review helps management dial in on clear issues. Let’s stick with just the staff today, or lack thereof. I have never been to a hotel so low staffed, and you could tell on the conditions of the rooms, as well as the customer service received. These employees were done with everything. We walked up and checked in Friday afternoon, and did not receive what anyone would say is a warm welcome. It clearly showed on the employee’s face that they did not want to be there. They in fact had their headphones in, and I caught them responding to whomever they were talking to on the phone while they were checking me in. We booked the room and indicated that an infant was coming, yet when I requested a crib, we were told it had misplaced. No explanation, no alternative, no offers to help with finding a solution. We later came back to that same employee to request extra pillows, so we could build a makeshift crib, and were immediately told they could not help us, as the cleaners had left for the day. The employee didn’t even offer to grab some pillows from a vacant room. No desire to help or even get off their seat. I will leave my review at that, and not include the dirty blankets we had in our rooms. Not a hotel welcome to families."
