Frank the owner was super helpful in every stage of booking, pre-arrival and help during the stay. He was always very prompt to answer any questions (sometimes within minutes).
A special circumstance that he helped us with was we ran out of time to get a new snow helmet delivered to our home before starting travel, Frank said we could ship it to his home address and he dropped it off in the unit before we arrived. Talk about going the extra mile for his guests!
I had trouble with getting the keys to work for the firewood shed, and he came out the very next day to sort it out and find keys that would work.
The unit was also very comfortable for my family of 4 to stay. My two kids (boy-15 and girl-13) each had their own queen beds thanks to the Murphy Bed. Having the bed down did make the living room a bit cramped, but was worth it to let each kid have their own bed.
Kitchen was well stocked - and we cooked nearly every evening. Was nice that they had lots of kitchen staples (even peanut butter and jelly!) spices and seasonings. We also used the grill which started right up with no trouble.
Yes, climbing up to the third floor is a bit of a hassle, but at least with the ski locker on ground level we don’t have to carry ski equipment up and down daily. And I think being on the top floor provides for little more quiet as no possibility of noisy stomping above you.
As for ski-in and out… is a bit of a walk… maybe 5 minutes up the street (uphill in ski boots…). But still faster than waiting for the shuttle. I tried the shuttle once, and the walk from shuttle drop off point in village to the main lifts is probably about the same as walking from condo to the Moose Creek lift. If you can ski green runs in control, you can use the lifts no problem to get to the base via Moose Creek and Union Pass lifts.
I would definitely book again to stay at this unit if I ever return to Jackson Hole.
