"Richard at the front desk is phenomenal. He was really concerned about making our stay the best it could be. The other people working behind the front desk were wonderful as well. And the bellmen were outstanding. The room is awesome, and the showers were particularly incredible. I will definitely be back. "

"I realize this is a historic building but it definitely could be run better. We were not informed that apparently you have to request for your room to be cleaned. I am still not clear about that. Our room was not cleaned so we called downstairs and let them know. We were told they would come clean it while we went to dinner. They did apparently come to the room and put towels and a trash bag of toiletries so we could clean and restock our room on the bed. Did they make the bed? Nope. I really was hoping for a better experience to write about but unfortunately it was not to be. On the up side it is in a great location but there are so many other options. "

"We love historical places and this was great. A ghost tucked the cover over my wife as I did not. The bed was very comfortable."

"I was very disappointed in this Doubletree! The room had a musty smell and it desperately needs updating. The bathroom looked like it needed a deep cleaning. The bed was like sleeping on a brick. Don’t take a truck and try to park in the garage. The roof is so low it broke our antenna. We stayed 3 nights and the more we saw, the more we disliked. Pick another place! "

"Friendly staff, especially the gentleman who makes the omelets. Also, Katie in the spa gave me one of the best massages I have ever had in my life, and I have had many. Thank you Katie!"
