Nice place, small issues

Nice place that was very clean and spacious, parking was great and we went when it was a quiet area so no noisy neighbours, however the toilet sometimes wouldn’t flush quite right and on of the provided oven trays didn’t even fit in the oven, otherwise an excellent place to stay

Just an amazing place to have vacation.

My daughter loved the swimming pool, I l enjoyed charcoal grill, my wife loves saroundig after all we really enjoyed the time spend there.

Disappointing accomodations

There is clearly a rodent (mice) issue as there are bait traps under the sink and in the closet. We found mouse droppings around the kitchen and in one of the washrooms. The toilet on the lower level didn’t flush at all, and even though they sent a maintenance worker to try and repair it, he was unable to fix it and said it needed to be replaced, which would require the owner’s approval. The bathtub in the loft area had a drainage problem so when taking a shower you’re standing in water up to your mid ankle. The location was great.

Not what I was expecting

Property description states the unit is a renovated condo; this unit is much smaller than a condo and is in dire need of a renovation. Carpeting throughout is stained and damp, with a terrible smell. Paint is bubbling and peeling from walls, outside patio has never been power washed and there is moss, cobwebs, and debris, kitchen and utensils are filthy, and the refrigerator does not maintain a proper temperature and all my food spoiled during my stay. Even the freezer did not keep my frozen items frozen. The furniture and beds are very dated and very uncomfortable. The resort is close to the chair lifts but quite far from the village however the shuttle service is great for ease and access to amenities in blue mountain.

Overall Experience

The condo was in a great location. Short walk to the chair lift! Some negatives included the upstairs bathroom shower did not drain. The kitchen items were lacking (only 4 forks for a 6 person condo.) Our wifi did not work meaning we could not use the TV. Overall it was a nice condo but needs minor improvements.

OK for the price

This was a decent price for a small accommodation. Queen beds were comfortable. Adequate towels provided. You can easily walk over to the lift by the Toronto ski club. The unit is advertised as newly renovated but some parts were quite worn down. Some parts look new, such as the counter tops but other parts are such as the baseboard look very run down. The pull out couch was not comfortable, you could feel the springs coming through and the couch was very saggy. Fridge door missing two inside shelf racks (and a third was broken) to hold things on the shelves so the shelves not usable. The local management team was attentive to our needs (troubleshooting internet access before we even checked in. Their communication was good. After hours though (6:30pm), we needed to get a blanket for the pull out couch and I called the after hours guest services but the blanket was not delivered to us until the next morning.

Overall great stay

Perfect sized space for family of 4. Only detracting factor was the housekeeping. Staircase handrails were sticky and clusters of dust were visible on the stucco finish of the slanted ceilings. There were many wall switches — accidentally turned on the ceiling fan for the 2nd floor, which dispersed worms of dust all over the bed directly under it. At least there was a vacuum in the utility closet. TV at 32” was on the small side for size of the main floor. Otherwise a good vacation space.

First off, how can they advertise this as a renovated condo when it’s in dire need of a renovation. The carpeting throughout is disgusting and felt damp, refrigeration system doesn’t get cold enough resulting in my food spoiling, the sofa and beds were not comfortable, outside “porch” is so small that no one can sit outside and looks as if it has never been cleaned (cobwebs and moss forming on deck boards) just not a pleasant stay at all. I would not suggest this unit nor will I return.

Very clean, specious and quiet all we needed. I would recomend maybe extra pool or just bigger one but we enjoyed our couple days off and we we would like to come again.

Disappointed

We stayed March 2022. I have booked many VRBO in the past. I have never been this disappointed This particular unit is in dire need of more comfortable furniture. The beds are extremely hard the pull out couch is completely warn out. The side chair covering is peeling off. Not one comfortable place to sit. The stools in the kitchen also were wobbly and uncomfortable. The unit dishes were all mismatched. Would describe more like student dorm. The place is extremely small. The unit was clean but carpets need to be updated. The fireplace was electric, did not see any way to turn it on. Unfortunately I was not able to ski due to a recent injury so having no comfortable place to sit was an issue for me. We left one day early. It is not really ski in and ski out you do need to hike to the lift.

Old and tired

The condo is in need of a really good cleaning. Sofa, cushions on sofa and carpets. No mat inside for snowy boots. Much smaller than the pictures. Previous reviews stated there was not enough wine glasses and the knives were dull. This still has not been fixed. We had no wine glasses and dull knives. A simple trip to the dollar store could fix the problems. The fireplace is electric. It is just for show. No heat comes out and remote is missing. Wires and cables all in front of the fireplace on extension cords. Biggest disappointment was no hot tub. It is on the property but shared by 70 condo units or more and was not working at all. There was water in it but the lid was off and it was stone cold. Will rent elsewhere next time. No extra blankets and duvet for sofa bed( horrible mattress) We did call and complain and a nice guy named Graham came out to show us how to turn on the fireplace and reset the tv.

No way to contact them

The room next to us were blasting music all night long and there was no way to contact anyone to help. We called the number and they didn’t do anything. The property itself was nice but a 25 minute walk to the village. If you’re going, just hope you’re neighbours aren’t having a party because you won’t sleep!

Clean and Quiet

This property is clean and quiet. It's about a 30 minute walk to the Villiage if you don't take the shuttle. My only complaint is the dullness of the knives, the lack of wine glasses, and a toaster that's ready for replacement. Otherwise, the kitchen is adequate for quick small meals.
