「The house is the perfect combination of woodsy and modern. Most of the wooden furniture has been beautifully hand made with creative design. 「The property was in a word: lovely. You can tell a lot of work went into renovating this place. My friend and I absolutely loved just chilling on the front porch each night. We meant to have a fire in the back, but we never got around to it. There was plenty of wood provided though, which was fantastic, as you can't bring firewood from out of state. 「The cabin is quiet and serene as described. But, please be aware of several things. 1. The “coin laundry” is not on site and the local laundromat hours are limited. 2. There is no foil, Saran Wrap, Tupperware or storage containers for leftovers, zip locks/bags, or cooking oil. Salt and pepper are the only spices on site. 「Located less than 7 minutes from downtown Lake George, you find yourself surrounded by a nice quiet setting in the woods. Once you get inside, the living / dinning area is spacious. 「This is a wonderful hotel on the lake, very close to town. The pool is heated and lots of nice furniture. The grounds are well maintained and the view from the room is terrific. Lots of beachfront here. You can walk across street and wait for a $1 trolley to get into town - they run often so not much of a wait. Staff here is very friendly and helpful.」
