Carmel Beach Hotel

"I stayed with my spouse and our 11 month old baby. The staff was incredibly accommodating. We asked if there was a larger room (for our baby's pack n play) and were offered an upgrade free of charge. We actually decided we could make the space we had work bc the bathroom was so large but appreciated the generosity. This place has gorgeous grounds and updated living/ bath space. Nice touches are a welcoming drink (non alcoholic) and turn down treats; meaning they bring you a small dessert in the evening- incredible! The fire pit is awesome and on our departure day we opted for the breakfast to be brought to us. At first I thought the food prices were a little high but not when I realized it comes with a coffee. The portions and food were great. We had the breakfast sandwich, oatmeal (huge and delicious) and eggs/bacon. The hotel had refillable waters and nespresso in room. They do offer some alcohol at the little bar in the lobby. You are only one block from the beautiful beach with incredible sunset views. I think the hotel may even have e-bikes you can rent which we would've 100% done if we didn't have a baby. We will absolutely stay here again!"

"Large room with fireplace with a shower and a tub. Left too early to check out the breakfast. Staff was very kind and helpful. Restaurants are walkable. They rent bikes!"

"Beautiful view of the pacific from our ocean view room. Had to go through the pool to get to the room. Luckily there were very few swimmers Staff very helpful. Parking can be a challenge. Also our bed had a nightstand only on the right and lighting was not the best Small waterfalls and bright flowers really impressed my wife."
