Motel Ely

"The location was great, the price was affordable, and for being an older motel, it was well-maintained and clean with amenities such as a refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. The window boxes filled with beautiful flowers outside each room added a homey touch and showed the attention to detail of the caretakers. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Very nice place! We had a blast during our stay. It was a tad smaller than we were expecting but it all turned out okay! Because we spent most of our stay out and about in Ely. Cozy and cute decor."

"Our stay was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The free pontoon rental was a great bonus and Bernie shared his knowledge of where to find the walleyes and put us right on them. Due to the forest fires we were evacuted from the cabin a day early and were bummed that we couldnt fish more for our last day."

"The lodge is so much bigger than in photos with a completely private yard & lakefront. Filled with everything you need for cooking, playing, and water activities for all ages. I brought my grandkids ages 5, 7 & 8 and they had a great time kayaking, sand castles, outdoor/indoor games and learning how to row a fishing boat. A small tent for the kids to sleep in though they didn’t make it the whole night- LOL. The place was spotless! Provided extra bedding and plenty of extra places to sleep. The master suite has king sized bed with adjustable firmness for each side. I cannot say enough about how it exceeded my expectations in every way! And the privacy! You can’t see any neighbors. Absolutely beautiful."
