Our family slept soundly, and the views of the volcano and surrounding clouded forest was breathtaking. “While the grounds, rooms, and majority of the staff were wonderful, we had a very poor experience at this hotel. Our power went out twice, once for 14 hours during our stay. We were not able to have showers, lights, or use any of the facilities in your room. I told the manager, Abel, about this issue and he did. Nothing, rushing to leave the facility at the end of his shift rather than taking the time so simply flip the breaker for our room and restore power. We communicated our concerns in……

“Although the facilities are acceptable, my overall experience was mixed. While the rest of the staff was very nice, helpful, and accommodating, we had a major issue with one specific female staff member. Upon arrival, she was quite rude and flatly refused to answer basic questions about our reservation, stating that she would not assist us until 3:00 PM. When we returned at that time and expressed our frustration regarding her treatment to another staff member, she finally apologized; however,……

“The place was absolutely amazing, truly enchanting. The views from the property were amazing and the air was always filled with the aroma of flowers. The food was average compared to the food in town. One suggestion for the staff would be to man the front desk 24/7 for guests. ”
