"This was a nicely kept, recently renovated room and bathroom. However it was small with limited space to hang or unpack clothing. There were limited amenities, no Kleenex, for example, and there was not even a chair to sit on, just the bed. It had a very nice, clean, newly renovated kitchen where you could make coffee or cook if you wanted. It was in a great location with easy access to Wrigley Field and many restaurant choices. If I were only staying one or two nights, it would have been perfect. For a longer stay, it was a bit limited. Communication with the owners was easy, and the electronic access was very convenient."

"There was no parking at the property. There are no luggage carts because the elevator holds a max of 3 people. It was musty and old, the floors creek and you hear the people above you all night. Would not recommend."

"I would stay here again. Check-in comes with very detailed instructions, and it was a breeze– easy, straightforward. The unit was kept exceptionally clean, the kitchen is pretty well-stocked for anything you might want to make, the breakfast is a great way to start each day on time, and the availability of a parking permit is wonderful. The proximity to the best bars is unmatched, and you’re on the third floor, so the street noise isn’t even that bad. My only negative marks are that there are only two bathrooms for what could be up to 8 people, the water pressure is not great, and for some reason, the climate control was set to “Fire & Brimestone” for the duration of our stay, so we had to keep the window open. Otherwise, all top marks."

"This charming, vintage hotel was exactly the stay of our dreams. It's a great price in a wonderful neighborhood. The staff was so kind and they even had cookies out in the lobby during the day. I'm thankful a hotel like the Willows exists in Chicago, staying there made our visit that much better. "

"This is a perfectly nice and cute hotel in a good location near the stadium. Apparently it is one of three locations across the city, and they all share CENTRALIZED guest services staff. Said another way, there is no staff onsite to help you with anything, including opening the front door. You have to complete check in online, including a photo of your ID and a selfie for identity verification, before you can get a key... to be clear, that is a key to the building AND your room. If you like me haven't done this yet, you have to call the number on a piece of paper taped to the window and they will text you things to do while you and your bags stand on the sidewalk as long as is required to get through checkin. Luckily Im tech savvy, but if this had been my parents for instance, who are in their sixties and relatively savvy themselves, there would be no hope. Once you're in, the hotel is cute and fine. Then again, lack of staff was a huge inconvenience as I needed to stow my bags for the day before an evening flight, but no staff to do that. I had to uber to a hotel near where I was going and use their bell desk. So unnecessary. Note to The Chicago Hotel: this model doesn't work, and I wouldn't recommend anyone do this to themselves when there's plenty of other places to stay."

"Great location. Great staff. Clean rooms and common areas. Lockers and additional storage available but the best part was how easy it was to book and locate - just off the train about a block and right next to Wrigley stadium, if baseball is your thing. Walkability is top tier, as it's near a lot of great restaurants, bars, and other shops. I had never been to this part of Chicago but needed a room for the night so as not to sleep outside union station. Was so comfortable I extended one night to almost a week. Great spot - would recommend!"

"Place was beautiful and the rooms are spacious, would like to have had a coffee maker in the room. Had a hard time finding the underground parking garage. Very nice to walk to the ball game."
