It was impossible to get in contact with anyone in the “lobby” which was just a locked room down a hallway with a phone i could hear ringing over and over again through the walls. I did not see a single staff member my entire stay. The walls are so thin I could hear every little thing. Thank god the speak easy was closed downstairs or I don’t think I would have gotten any sleep at all. There were only 2 towels in the bathroom and half a roll of toilet paper. No hooks anywhere to hang your belongings so everything/wet towels had to stay on the floor. There was no heat or air conditioning just a tower fan in the corner of the room which got very stuffy and very uncomfortable fast. The only thing I enjoyed about my stay was the convenience of being close to a parking garage, numerous restaurants and the L train. Other than that I will be sure to never stay there again. I could have stayed some where so much nicer for the $230 I was charged plus surprise 15$ fee at checkout.

I forgot an art print here in my room. $50 Print. A normal hotel you could call somebody because housekeeping would turn it into lost and found. With this place, the email for customer service returns as doesn’t exist. The phone number direct you to the website which has no way to talk to anybody. So because they have absolutely no contact with their customers, I am out of $50 art print from my vacation. And that absolutely sucks. It was a small but acceptable room for what you pay. But the lack of customer service and how I’m losing a very memorable item from an otherwise great vacation because they have no way to figure out problems with their customers is inexcusable. They avoid contact and you wonder why they need that lack of accountability.

Room and building very clean, open spaces to room next door make it a bit noisy and decreases overall privacy. Good location, foam mattress kind of bad. Absolutely cannot check in even a minute early. Not sure I would go back

The room was clean and in great condition. There didn't seem to be any heat in the hallway. My bathroom wasn't in my room so I had to walk to in the hallway to access the bathroom. I was very disappointed when the code to the hallway wasn't working when I arrived at my room and it was a challenge being able to contact someone. I followed the online check in procedure the previous day so that it would be ready. I had to take my luggage with me to the event that I was attending because I couldn't get access to the hallway leading to my room or get ready since I couldn't get in my room. I was contacted after I left to head to my event and was told it would be corrected in a few hours. I would expect it to be ready when I arrived so that was unfortunate.

The walls are paper-thin; you can hear absolutely every sound from every other room in the building. We could hear soft-spoken conversations in other rooms, and the man across the hall snoring throughout the night. In our visit, the people upstairs were blasting music and partying all night, and unfortunately, it was as if we were in the room with them. The place itself felt very safe and is in a great location. Check-in was very easy and accommodating. It was clean and well-kept. I would avoid the room with the detached bathroom, as it is very annoying to sneak through the hallway to use it, but it is openly marketed as such.

Was as advertised. Basic accommodations that were clean and affordable, pared down amenities but really all I needed was a room and shower. The room I was in had a detached bathroom which I thought would be more annoying but really wasn’t. Only thing is the bathroom was freezing cold and would benefit from better insulation or a small heater.

The walls are very thin. I understand that it's an older building, however, I could hear everything as if it was right on the other side of the door, and I mean everything. The bed is very firm and uncomfortable. I also wish there was some kind of full-length mirror somewhere in the room. The location is good and everything felt safe. It was also nicely decorated and clean overall.

This is a renovated house so the room plan is a little unconventional with external bathrooms (private). The rooms are attractive, although a desk would have been nice for our room for laptop work. The location worked well for our purposes as we have family to visit in the Lakeview district. We did not interact with any staff, as check in was performed online and a code is issused to access the front door, room, bathroom, and internal hallways. A good price, but I would pay a little more for an en suite bathroom and a desk the next time.

Estupendo

Hotel pequeño y cómodo. Metro al lado para ir al centro en 20 minutos. Habitación cómoda y buenas camas. Además, tuvimos un problema y nos ayudaron muchísimo. Estoy muy agradecida, nos ayudaron con el problema, nos facilitaron todo y nos ayudaron a resolverlo de manera rápida y eficaz, más allá de sus competencias. Estoy muy agradecida. Sin dudarlo recomendaría este hotel por su confort, precio y ubicación. Y, si tienes una dificultad, tienes un staff que te ayuda y resuelve cuando más lo necesitas.

Hotel is in a nice location and I felt very safe. Room was clean though it was a little strange that the bathroom is accross the hallway and not in the room (it was ok since it was a private bathroom and there is only 2 rooms on the floor).
