"My experience at this hotel was a far cry from what was advertised. Upon check-in, I was surprised to find additional charges, including nightly parking fees despite ample parking space available onsite, as well as a R250 per person damages deposit, which I declined to pay, leading them to take my driver's license as collateral. "We were met with the most uninterested woman in the reception. Felt like she didn’t care about anything. The room was very small, there was no fan, very tiny windows (felt a bit unsafe) and there was no shower as stated in the booking. The internet was not working during our stay, and there was no safety locker in our room, nor in reception. We were like the only people staying there. "Really awesome little surf house and surf school in Hermanus . Sarah the owner really took care of all our needs and organised all our surfing lessons and a very special whale boat trip to see the southern wright whales. The surf house is just a short walk into the town centre along the beautifull ocean cliff path walk . Highly recommended and will back for sure some day !"
