The chalet is absolutely lovely and we loved waking up each morning to the sunrise & the trees and the view of the lake…it was magical. A car accident had actually knocked out power to the whole town just before we showed up, but the place has a generator so we still had everything! cabin is a10 minute walk from town which was really fun to explore! We saw a mama and baby deer in the back yard on day 1. The kids (9 &14) could not get enough of the Foosball table and the adults discover the ring & hook game on...

「The location of the Steamboat Lodge could not be better. It is close to VIEW (with lots of free or affordable fun family activities), Calypso Cove, Water Safari, the Pied Piper, the North Street playground, and all of downtown. The small semi private beach was perfect for our 6 small grandchildren. The property must get a lot of use! There are several small items that could be attended to make the place even better (e.g., some of the beds are not very comfortable or sturdy, the cleaning process...
