「Very comfortable room (the ones with a balcony in the range 31-36 ish). Warm (it was end Nov), attractive, carpeted (always a bonus), beautiful sunrise view. We’ve tried all room types over 20 years at Val Moret but this is our favourite so far (already booked for next 3 visits). Reception lady was very helpful and attentive. 「Family of four heading South.The hotel was easy to find and with plenty of secure parking.The hotel was modern, spotless and the reception friendly. The room was like a mini apartment sans kitchen, with a separate toilet, shower room, two bedrooms (one double, two singles). Super comfy beds and we all slept the whole way through. Breakfast was more than adequate. If you are looking for the absolute best breakfast (a sport for many, including us), this is not it, but don't let that deter you....

「We have stayed here before and as last time, it was perfect. Charles is a wonderful host and when we turned up late on a Sunday evening with few local dining opportunities, he created a delicious platter of cheeses and meats for us, including an aged Brillat-Savarin that was just divine. He helped us get away for the channel crossing on time by accommodating us a bit early for breakfast. The room (Reims) was very comfortable, with a shower and bath. Highly recommended.」
