We have stayed here on a few occasions and the rooms are nice and cozy. The waterfront is beautiful. The restaurant has good food. We will stay here again for sure. The staff and owners are nice to deal with.

The bathroom was spotless. Difficult to tell the rest as the lighting was poor. The toilet ran all night but it worked. I originally thought it was the laundry room which was next to us. The room was quiet for being beside the highway. We used this hotel as a one night stop over while driving through. The clean bathroom and friendly staff means I would return. Great view of Lake Huron from our room.

The surrounding area was the prize. So beautiful. The room was a pleasant surprise as it was newly renovated.

The room needed a deep cleaning...the doors were visibly dirty, the baseboards were grimy and the air conditioner was dreadful...full of dust and dirt hanging from the vents...the border along the bathtub had pulled away ...the beds were clean but overall really needed a deep clean.

Nestled on a romantic little beach front, the Carolyn Beach Inn & Restaurant was an absolute delight. The rooms were clean and the view was amazing. Do yourself a favour and try the Beef stew and Masala at the restaurant, one of the best meals of my life. The Inn is also conveniently located near a gas bar/Tim Hortans.

Beware of credit card theft from this property. Although once a charming and friendly spot, the new owner is unking and unwilling to help. Our credit card information was stolen after booking and paying for our stay and charged online at multiple locations and then again by this property for thousands of dollars.

It’s old, but the tiles in the shower were somewhat new. The cleaning wasn’t great but the sheets smelled clean. Just a reminder when you book through here and pay through here the person at the desk should not need your form of payment to see or write down. Proof of who you are is ok

The desk staff was somewhat rude. Part of the property was in much need of repair, the wing of the motel we stayed in had some upgrades made and were fairly clean. We had a good view of the lake and it was quiet.

Love that the property is water front. Feel relaxed and safe. It looks like they are updating the rooms wish was nice. The restaurant has good food but the hours of operation are confusing. Sign out front states opened from 4 to 9 but I tried the door at 4:30 and it was lock. In saying that there are other place in town which was good. Would I continue staying there absolutely.
