Very disappointed

I had booked for 3 and there was only one double bed... So my daughter didn't sleep well on a small and very old sofa + there were no sheets for her. Unacceptable!!!

Adequate, but not blown away

Small "double bed" made for a not particularly comfortable nights sleep (we were informed at check-out that if we'd paid more we could have had a larger bed!!!!). Otherwise adequate accomodation for the 3 nights stay, but not blown away.

Fantastic

Lovely staff very warm and welcoming The food in the bar is fantastic. Nice spacious room with sofa and double bed. Even our pet dog was made to feel welcome. Looking forward to returning again soon

Overnight visit with friends

We took two rooms overnight while visiting friends nearby. A pleasant country pub/hotel that provided everything we needed. Rooms were clean, comfortable and included tv, tea/coffee, etc. The owner was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast both plentiful and good quality. Would certainly use again and would recommend.

Great weekend

Really friendly atmosphere. Food wasn't good. Paul was super and do enough to help. Stayed a single was visiting Thetford Forest for a music event. Close enough to drive or get a taxi to.

Ideal location to be close to nature

Nice venue. Breakfast costs could be advertised better as this is additional to the B&B pricing. Menu exceptional with nice portions hence the need to reserve a table at certain times. Overall Paul and the Staff were very welcoming

Ok for a quick stopover

Staff were welcoming, unfortunately the shower head bracket was broken but I didn’t find out until 6am - there was no one on the desk to tell as I left at 06:45 :/

Very comfortable place, friendly check in etc. Clean and pretty well kept, there was a small gap around the shower tray though but the shower worked well. There was a heavy snorer in the next room which we could hear a bit too clearly, better sound proofing would be good but overall would recommend.

A great stay

A great base for our Norfolk stay. We stayed in one of the suites which was spacious and clean with everything we needed. We had a good welcome from the staff who were all helpful and approachable. We would definitely visit again.

Absolutely lovely!!! Huge sweeping gravel drive and car park, so close to all the rooms. Beautiful pub and extremely friendly staff throughout. Would thoroughly recommend and would definitely stay again without hesitation.
