Green and tranquil

A very spacious house with plenty of charm. The setting is wonderful, almost a clearing in the trees. Would highly recommend. Hosts were extremely helpful, generous and charming.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cette maison. Elle est spacieuse, très propre et bien équipée, avec tout le confort nécessaire. Le gîte est conforme aux photos sauf pour la piscine. Elle est bien pourvue d'une clôture de sécurité aux normes, les bambins ne peuvent pas y aller seuls !C'est un havre de paix, isolé au milieu de la végétation, le calme demeure omniprésent.Dans les environs, il y a quelques attractions et villages qui valent le coup.Les proprios ont été très accueillants et à dispo quand cela était nécessaire. Sans vis a vis et bien équipée, cette maison saura vous offrir un bon séjour dans le Lot et Garonne.

Vacances au calme !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Coustals, la maison est idéale pour passer des vacances au calme. Elle reste très fraîche au rez de chaussée malgré la chaleur environnante, ce qui est vraiment un point fort. Malgré la possibilité de largement aéré les chambres en mezzanine celle ci reste chaude. La piscine est idéale, bien entretenue, et bien localisée par rapport à la maison avec une superbe vue. Quelques équipements en plus au niveau de la salle de bain seraient les bienvenues (un sèche cheveux, un tapis de sol…). La cuisine est globalement bien équipée. Un petit bémol cependant sur la présence régulière des propriétaires, avec des passages journalier sans prévenir. Notamment pour programmer des choses qui pourraient se faire via messages. Très agréable expérience en tout cas, nous recommandons !

Un site naturel incroyable !

Gîte très agréable et propriétaires très à l’écoute

Le gîte est grand et propre, bien équipé. Plusieurs espaces sont disponibles permettant des activités diverses. Le baby-foot et la table de ping-pong ont été très appréciés. La piscine est un lieu agréable pour se baigner mais aussi pour observer les étoiles entre les arbres. Le gîte est parfait pour se détendre en famille ou entre amis. Quant aux propriétaires ils ont ete disponibles et réactifs (problemes de tuyauterie regardés dès leur survenance) et compréhensifs pour le remplacement d’une pièce àmpour le robot piscine. Les contaccts ont été très sympathiques. Très bon séjour! Merci

Au calme

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce gîte. La maison est au calme et est très fraîche. Le fait d'être en pleine forêt apporte de la sérénité et la maison ancienne garde la fraîcheur. Quelques insectes peuvent s'inviter également... La piscine reste proche de la maison sans être à côté ce qui permet de ne pas entendre le bruit des baigneurs de la maison 😉. Les environs offrent de quoi visiter et se promener. Les marchés sont très petits sauf celui de Thézac ou de Libos. Le village très accueillant et les festivités organisés très sympathiques (14 juillet). Ce furent de belles vacances !!

Tranquil Retreat

If you are looking for a place hidden in wonderful countryside, then this place is for you. It’s a tranquil retreat and a great base to explore the area. The hosts were attentive and helpful without being intrusive. In total there were 10 of us and the house was more than large enough with the pool being a bonus. A definite recommendation.

Vacances nature en famille

Propriété en pleine nature, bien adaptée pour une famille ou un groupe. Maison rustique mais fonctionnelle et bien équipée dans laquelle nous avons été très bien accueillis par des propriétaires charmants. Points de détail : une des chambres est en mezzanine et il faut savoir que la connexion internet est assez compliquée.

Super séjour au calme et au milieu de la nature

Grande maison idéale pour séjour en famille ou entre amis. Emplacement génial et au calme. Aucun vis à vis, on se sent au bout du monde. Maryse et Jean-Claude sont adorables et aux petits soins. On reviendra !

Fabuleux !

Nous avons séjourné dans ce gîte entre amis le temps d'un week-end. Un seul mot : Inoubliable !!! Le lieu, la maison sont magnifiques. Vous y trouverez du calme, du charme, de l'isolement. Idéal pour se reposer ou faire la fête ! Mr Raffa est adorable et très disponible. Il aime sa région et la faire découvrir aux autres. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

Total privacy in beautiful forested countryside

We found Les Coustals spotlessly clean, super comfortable (really good beds & sofa) as well as characterful and charming - this was the most relaxing break we have had for years. The pool is just 100 yards from the house and is saline, not chlorine - unheated but really refreshing & very private. We loved the outside bbq, eating on the front porch, listening for owls & watching the sunset through the trees. Jean Claud was incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful; always around if we needed advice but very discreet (he lives in a beautiful larger house nearby). We had cool weather for 2 days and he kindly encouraged us to pick the quince and figs from his driveway to make jam, & to walk over his huge estate - just beautiful & unspoilt. Our dog loved having the freedom to roam too! If you want rest, relaxation and to connect with the french countryside, this is the perfect spot. Thank you Jean Claud; we hope to stay again.

Lovely secluded wilderness!

We spent a lovely week at Coustals last week. We were 7 adults and 5 children (there are 3 double bedrooms and a mezzanine above the lounge, sleeping 2 in an open area and 4 in a bedroom leading off it - this is where the children mainly slept). The owner Jean Claude was very friendly and helpful and everything ran smoothly. The gite itself is lovely and spacious and has everything you need. Everything was also clean and tidy. It is off the beaten track and so is very private with no road noise whatsoever and no through traffic. The view from the veranda was spectacular, looking out over the wooded valley. The pool was bigger than expected and a very good size. We had lots of fun together during the week and everyone was very comfortable. The only slight problem we had was the electricity cutting out a couple of times during the night, but I think this is to be expected in such remote countryside. We think we isolated it to the dishwasher but maybe take a torch with you! Other than that it was the perfect place for a big family holiday and I hope we return in the future.
