Take the road beyond Fusine (closed in wintertime) towards the Laghi and this emerald mountain lake with grant views is your reward. There are several spots where you see the water bubbling upwards, vulcano style, which fits perfectly with the idyllic scenery. The hike around this upper lake takes a good one and a half hour, depending on how many benches you want to try out. There is a connecting trail to the lower lake as well - will try that next time!
