Thomson Hotel with Pool

"Our stay at the hotel was fine. The only problem that we “encountered” was discovering that the inside top of the microwave wasn’t clean but extremely dirty, so it was obvious no one had cleaned it thoroughly. It grossed us out! But aside from that, everything else was good. The staff was courteous, professional and friendly; the breakfast food was excellent as always and the beds were comfortable, and there wasn’t a lot of noise in the hallways either…"

"This hotel had the most responsive and attentive staff I ever encountered. When I arrived there were 3 problems with the appliances. The hair dryer did not work, the microwave had a compromised inner window, and the refrigerator did not cool. I responded to a text which asked a if my room was ok. I listed the problems. The following afternoon I returned to my room and everything was replaced or fixed. A week later, I came back to the room and my room key wouldn't work. I went to the desk and Evan gave me new cards. Long story short, the electronic door mechanism was not working. Evan suggested a room change, which I was not looking forward to. He was able to give me the room next to mine, he offered to help me move, and saw that I was safely tucked into the new room. He is an amazing young man. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over my lifetime. I have never had such attentive, kind, service from any of them, including the Las Vegas strip hotels. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Augusta area. It is inexpensive. But it is a diamond in the rough."
