Unforgettable Stay in the Heart of the Alps

We absolutely loved staying at Chalet des Alpes! The property was beautiful, with plenty of space for our family of five. David was extremely friendly and responsive, and he provided us with excellent local recommendations. The hot tub and mountain views were absolutely breathtaking. We really hope to return one day!

A very comfortable chalet that makes everyone, from 5 to 90 years old, feel at home. The view and the garden are stunning. The location is convenient, close to shops, markets, and amazing hikes. David was really friendly and helpful.

An excellent place to refresh your self and to clear your mind, away from the noise and disturbance! Thônes is a very quiet and small village, definitely worth the visit, the host is so nice. I highly recommend visiting this place to enjoy the outdoors!

This chalet was better in real life than the photos. The views are wonderful from the balconies. It was very comfortable and we appreciated the little touches provided by David, like the coffee capsules and luxury shower foam and hand cream. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor BBQ worked a treat. We enjoyed many meals on that terrace surrounded by trees and flowers in full bloom.

My husband and I stayed at David’s place for our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed the chalet and the surrounding area. The view is beautiful, and we enjoyed spending time in the hot tub and eating our meals outside. We also enjoyed many activities surrounding Annecy Lake. David is friendly and very helpful, always responsive to any questions or requests for local recommendations. We highly recommend David’s place and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful stay at Les Roses des Alpes

We had a wonderful stay at Les Roses des Alpes. The deck with beautiful views was very enjoyable, and the hot tub was a real plus. The location is a 5-minute drive from Thônes center, 30 minutes from the beautiful beach on Lake Annecy, and about an hour from Geneva. What sets Les Roses des Alpes apart is how homely it feels. It is the first time we have rented a place that literally has everything. There were enough towels for an army, all the necessary kitchen items including things that are usually missing like foil, oil, etc. There were lots of lovely books and a pétanque court as the cherry on top. The owners were nice and attentive. We will definitely go back!

Exceptional Stay with Thoughtful Hospitality

This is a beautiful property in a lovely setting, about 35 minutes from Annecy. It is spacious, tastefully furnished and decorated, and well-equipped. A particular bonus is the hot tub, which we enjoyed most evenings after dinner. The owners live on the ground floor, with the guest accommodation spread over the two floors above. David looked after us excellently, and we really appreciated the welcome gifts, the guided tour, and the helpful advice. All in all, this is a fabulous property that we can't recommend highly enough.

Absolutely wonderful. Could not fault Chalet Les Roses des Alpes, stunning location, beautiful house, exceptional amenities, David was extremely welcoming and goes to great lengths to ensure his guests have a happy stay, from the thoughtful supply of toilet rolls and luxury toiletries to the kitchen necessities right up to the local cheese and wine in the fridge to welcome you. Thoroughly recommend a stay here, we all had an amazing holiday. Thank you.
