We stayed here to take our kids to storyland. The drive through the white mountains and back from the park was Beautiful and the nearby hike to the swimming hole was really great for the (3) 6yr olds. The house was great, very clean and well stocked for our needs. We were able to charge our plug in hybrid with our low level charger to the 120 outlet on the garage. We did not try the sauna but the air hockey got a lot of attention. I would highly recommend this property.

Quick weekend trip

Plenty of communication with the homeowner ahead of our stay. This home has a sauna, which was very nice to use - relaxing!. The home is beautiful with plenty of areas to relax. I'm the first up, so I spent my mornings in the 3-season room studying with coffee (it was lightly raining), otherwise, I would have been on the patio. The kitchen is well-appointed, and the master suite is very nice (secluded and private at the end of the house, away from the business). Two upstairs full-size rooms (one for brother and the other for sister) were relaxing and plenty private; the grown-up kids took the bunk room on the main floor. Wish we had time to use the game room downstairs, but perhaps on a future visit!

Perfect in every way!

The house was perfect for all our needs. Our group of 8 has been renting homes in the Thornton area for several years and someone always had less than ideal sleeping arrangements. Last year’s house took a back hall mud room, threw in a set of bunk beds, and called it a bedroom 🙄. This house has comfortable sleeping for all 8, plenty of parking for 5 cars, and loads of outdoor living space. Our only glitch was regarding a permit for the use of the fire pit but was promptly sorted by the host ☺️ We have booked a return stay for next year. One minor issue was that there were no dish towels in the kitchen but luckily we had brought our own. Bedrooms were quiet even when there was activity in the kitchen and everyone agreed that this was the best house we’d ever rented. Host and management company were great to work with and very responsive. We look forward to next year!
