"Great location, clean room with nice hotel amenities. Thought the integrated bidet/toilet would be nice but couldn’t get it to work and automatic lid activated constantly just walking past the bathroom door. Unfortunately, water started backing up our floor drain in the morning and we were just given towels to contain it until we checked out making getting ready to leave very difficult."

"This hotel always provides a great start to any holiday. The checkin is seamless and a lovely lady helps with the computer check-in if you choose this way and are unfamiliar. The beds are cloud soft and provide a great night’s sleep before a long flight next morning. The staff are lovely and so courteous. We had a fantastic fixed price meal in the restaurant. Entree was the best chicken liver pate with a tasty jelly on top that I have tasted anywhere in the world! The accompanying brioche toast was a perfect accompaniment. This was followed by melt in the mouth duck breast, a generous portion, with delicious vegetables to accompany. We could not have been happier with the start of our holiday. Rydges never fails to deliver. Well done!"

"We had a double room with two beds - and two bedside tables (hooray!). Each bedside table had two good-sized shelves. On each table was an adjustable, separately-switched bedside lamp (hooray!) In the bathroom, there was a light under the mirror - good for leaving on all night (switched from outside the bathroom). The shower had no door - just a half-sized panel separating it from the main bathroom - so water easily escaped from the shower and, in our room, would flow across the bottom of the bathroom door unless checked with towel (bathmat was already half wet from escaping spray)."

"Brilliant location, made getting around Sydney so easy. The staff were all so kind and helpful and just a joy to interact with every day. The room service was very reasonably priced- not too different to eating out so when I wanted a dessert without going too far I had some delicious options! Room facilities were perfect- love having excellent water pressure and the rooms were so gorgeous and it was so much fun being in such a unique building. It would be hard for me to want to stay somewhere else in the Sydney CBD. We ended up leaving some stuff in the room by accident which the housekeeping found and the concierge arranged for it to be mailed back, I honestly thought it would be $$$$ but they charged only for postage and a very small admin fee. Honestly- love the Paradox Sydney and could not recommend more."
