“Unfortunately”

“The place had the essentials we needed. It only has a full bed and a twin, didn’t notice it was just a full bed in the listing. It’s a busy street, thus very noisy. We didn’t use the balcony as it’s right over the busy Elizabeth street. It was nice having the washer and dryer. The area was ok.”

“We were able to check in early, which was great as we landed at 5am after 30 hours of travelling and that was greatly appreciated. The apartment was well fitted with all the appliances you could need like toaster, kettle, hob and fridge/freezer. The shared living room had a oven and coffee machine and places to sit which was nice. However, it was not what the pictures described. It was not as clean and new, it had stains on the curtains and grime in the bathroom. Our bathroom door didn’t shut……

“Our family had a lovely stay overall. The property was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Chinatown is just downstairs and heaps of food choices all day. The property manager was very friendly, informative, and made the check-in process smooth. We also appreciated being accommodated with an early check-in (for an additional fee), which was very helpful after our trip. The only area that could use some improvement is the bathroom exhaust fan, as it didn’t clear the steam well after……

“The apartment is well equipped and has all it needs for a family getaway (e.g. cooking utensil, oven, seasoning, fridge and so so). Good lighting and generally clean. The air-conditioner is on upstairs only and if it's a hot day, sitting downstairs doesn't feel any cool stream. Besides, the apartment is located right next to the street level, noise from the passers-by or cars and next door neighbors can be easily heard. The host is responsive to enquiries”
