「Jackrabbit Cabin is a charming place to stay. We really loved the beautiful wood floor, the earthy natural accents and the most comfortable bed. It is a perfect location as it's only about 4 miles to Joshua tree national forest. The drinks and trail snacks is a very nice touch! Thanks so much. We hope to come back in the winter.」

「We had a fabulous time in Idyllwild! The small-town vibe, the kindness of the locals, and the spectacular hikes did not disappoint. Our host, Heather, went above and beyond by upgrading us to a larger property because she thought the cabin we originally booked would be too tight for four people. We truly felt like VIPs in the main house. Everything was top-notch, beautifully kept, and felt incredibly homey. Check-in and check-out were completely seamless thanks to the keypad system. 「It was a perfect little getaway weekend for two. Clean, comfortable beds in a cute, cozy cabin. We felt like we were in a tree house. Watched scrub jays in the treetops by day and bats under the starry night sky as the sun set from our vantage point in the jacuzzi. We didn't run into any hiccups at all. We were able to make the 3-point turn twice a day to park in our big Ford F150. A smaller car should have no trouble at all. We loved it. Wish we were still there!」

「John's studio was perfect for mine and my fiance's last minute weekend get away to Idyllwild. The space looked just like the photos and was indeed very cozy as stated in the listing. It was modern, well decorated, and the kitchenette was stocked with cooking supplies. The location was so convenient to town, and the check in/out process was easy and straight forward. We would absolutely stay again when we return to Idyllwild!」

「Very pleased with this property overall. We left the Palm Desert to get out of the heat, mission accomplished! We noticed on the listing that the home was air conditioned and it die have 2 portable room air conditioners vented outside. It was extremely warm and a couple of box fans would have helped circulate the cool air. Other than that, we really enjoyed this property…highly recommend!」

「The house was exactly as described and clean. We had a small delay in one communication with host but they were very apologetic and responsive thereafter. The location was excellent; very close to the town center and trails as well as a nice neighborhood for extra dog walking. The gazebo was a beautiful place for afternoon reading, naps, birdwatching. And we loved that Idyllwild gave us the quiet 4th of July evening we needed.」

「Beautiful setting in the mountains with gorgeous views from the wraparound deck and main living area. Elizabeth was a wonderful host and even helped us with our luggage as she was in the area when we checked in. We rented over the 4th of July weekend to avoid the fireworks and it was totally silent! 「This cabin was absolutely gorgeous. When you walk in you’re immediately greeted by the most stunning views. Every detail in this place was so perfectly curated and cozy. My girlfriends and I had the best weekend and I cannot recommend this place enough. When we first showed up, I couldn’t find our door code and the property management answered the phone immediately and sent me a new code. We will definitely be back here.」
